The AlertSite SAFE SITE seal is clearly displayed
on Luna's site and is easily accessible to customers.
With media coverage about data security breaches and identity theft at an all-time high, one of the first things customers do when visiting an online retail site is assess security. Businesses are continually looking for ways to improve site protection and, ultimately, brand reputation. Retailers risk losing sales to other, more secure sites if they do not clearly indicate their site is protected by a trusted vendor.
AlertSite began daily vulnerability scans of the Luna Warehouse web site in October, monitoring the site to identify any threats or possible hacker intrusions. The AlertSite SAFE SITE seal is clearly displayed on Luna's site and is easily accessible to customers. According to Luna, AlertSite's services have had an immediate and positive impact on their business. Inquiries about the site's safety have decreased, and traffic has increased. What's new

Error notification e-mails contain link to the "Event Detail" page. This provides detailed information about the site error including current status, related events and notifications issued. The contents of each notification listed can be displayed by clicking on the "Type" column. The "Event Detail" page can also be accessed from the Console and from the "Detail Performance Report." This provides a way to examine notifications issued in response to a site error. To access from the Console, click on "Errors Last 24 Hrs" and then on the clock icon associated with the error. To access the page from the "Detail Performance Report," click on the clock icon for the row containing the error. Log in now.

Improved Reporting for secure web sites with due and expired SSL certificates. Due and expired SSL certificates now show an information icon rather than an error status on the console and in reports. Details about the certificate expiration status can be found by clicking on the information icon. The icon is displayed until the condition is corrected or the feature is disabled. Notification is issued when the site SSL certificate reaches the user-defined expiration window and again when the SSL certificate expires.
