Security Vulnerability Scan goes live. Make sure your servers, routers, firewalls and any Internet-connected device do not have any of thousands of known vulnerabilities. The Scan probes your site from outside the firewall -- just like the hackers do. Hackers count on you not being aware of known vulnerabilities or failing to patch them. We notify you if previously-detected vulnerabilities are present, if new vulnerabilities are detected or if a former vulnerability is remediated. Learn more about AlertSite's Security Scan>>

DNS TTL (time to live) determines the amount of seconds a particular DNS server will keep DNS information cached after it has fulfilled a request to resolve a domain. A number of large service providers are ignoring the configured TTL and are implementing a "DNS floor" to reduce the workload on their DNS services.
