TrueUser:Setting the Standard

DéjàClick, built upon on AlertSite's TrueUser™ technology, is a best-of-breed platform for recording and replaying complete transactions. Recorded scripts replay actual user events such as clicks, keystrokes and delays. Some of the features of TrueUser technology are listed below.

Easy to set up. Scripts are created automatically by mouse clicks and site browsing. No training is required for building sophisticated scripts which can be used for testing and monitoring web-based applications.
Adaptive playback. Automatically detects and adjusts for rich media applications, including such variables as cookie-based forms.
Flexibility and responsiveness. DéjàClick automatically compensates for delays in response time, human factors, asynchronous activity, changes in forms, as well as differences between first-time and subsequent users.
Conditional record and playback. Scripts can be modified for a wide range of conditions such as user response time, network activity, cookie activation/hiding, form requirements and much more.
"Whole-transaction" processing perspective. DéjàClick allows users to monitor the complete client-web-server application environment and integrates with web- and server-based monitoring to provide end-to-end metrics in one management console. Read More.
Customer Kudos to AlertSite Performance Advisor

We recently received an E-mail from a customer who was very appreciative about the service he received from Performance Advisor (PA) Samantha Harris. Here's what he had to say:

"I just wanted to let you know that I am now a customer. Besides the fact that your product is superior and easier to use than our previous vendor, your customer service during the trial was fantastic. I was dealing with Samantha Harris. She was very helpful, providing prompt attention and concise technical assistance. Your product is one of the best of it's type I've found—I searched for about a year, and your customer service is absolutely top rate. I'll use a good product, but great customer service will bring me back for more. Thank you for your communications during my trial, the great product—and thanks to Samantha for all her help!" –Jeff Clement, Farmington Savings Bank Network Manager.

Samantha has been with AlertSite for the past year, and says, "I love working at AlertSite doing what I do. I take great pride in making sure a customer is getting the attention he needs and understands all the benefits of AlertSite services. I make sure they understand how to use the Report Center to their best advantage. What I did for Jeff at Farmington Savings Bank is what I try to do for every one of the customers with whom I work."

According to AlertSite President and CEO Ken Gross, "As great as our software and technology is, it is each individual Performance Advisor who keeps our customers satisfied. I am truly proud of Samantha and our team."

What's new

AlertSite adds new monitoring stations. We have added Montreal, Vancouver, Amsterdam and Rishon, Israel to our global monitoring network. This expansion increases the total number of global monitoring locations to 30 and extends our ability to assist you in responding accurately and quickly to potential network performance problems that may impact specific regional locations. Read more.

All-locations Monitoring allows you to rotate monitoring locations from a user-defined locations pool. All you have to do is specify the number of locations from which to monitor and designate the locations you want in your pool. This is a low-cost way of monitoring from many locations. This feature is available for MultiPOP2 and Round Robin customers. Here's how it works:
  1. Enable rotation and define a rotation count by going to the "Edit Site" page and selecting "Yes" from the "Rotate Locations" dropdown.
  2. Select a rotation count from the "Locations per Interval" dropdown.
  3. Select locations for your pool by going to the "Edit Locations" page.
The AlertSite ServerAgent software is now available for the Solaris platform running SunOS 5.0 and later. If you are interested in a service that collects internal server metrics and allows you to easily integrate them into the AlertSite monitoring service, click here for info.
