Ken Gross
CEO, President and Co-founder
Ken Gross, AlertSite's Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and President, has positioned the company as an industry leader and innovator. Under Gross' direction, AlertSite® has extended operations nationwide, as well as across Europe and the Asia/Pacific region.
Gross has more than 22 years of experience in the employment search, placement, and consulting industry. For the last 20 years, he has been CEO and President of Data Search Network, Inc. Founded by Gross, Data Search Network has grown into a multi-million dollar company that specializes in the recruitment and placement of information systems professionals.
Gross holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Montclair State University.
Michael Lucente
Executive Vice President, CTO and Co-founder
Michael Lucente, AlertSite's Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, is the primary architect of the AlertSite computer network system and infrastructure. Lucente brings to AlertSite strong leadership skills, extensive technical experience, and a passion for delivering value to customers.
Lucente has 20-plus years of experience building computer systems for three successful startups. He was the primary architect and developer of software systems for Verio/Hiway, the world's largest Web-hosting firm. When Lucente arrived, Verio/Hiway hosted less than 3,000 Web sites. By the time he departed, Hiway hosted more than 100,000 Web sites.
Lucente left Hiway to join Seisint, Inc. (formerly eData.com), where he successfully implemented Web-based computer systems, and then he moved to eDirect.com (a Seisint subsidiary) to build that company's computer systems. This positioned eDirect for a merger with Naviant and subsequent sale to EquiFAX.
Lucente is a graduate of Nova Southeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems.
Joel Richardson
Chief Financial Officer
Joel Richardson, AlertSite's Chief Financial Officer (CFO), is responsible for the company's financial strategy.
Richardson, a Certified Public Accountant, brings 24 years of private and public sector experience in the fields of finance, accounting, and operations. Before coming to AlertSite, he served as Vice President and CFO of CyLex Systems, Inc., an application service provider of content and document management software. Supervising both financial management and human resources, Richardson played an integral role in raising over $25 million in venture capital and strategically positioning the company for sale to Ricoh Corporation.
Prior to CyLex, Richardson developed the financial and accounting infrastructure of Hiway Technologies, which eventually became the world's largest Web-hosting enterprise. Following the acquisition of Hiway by Verio/NTT, Richardson assumed responsibility for financial operations of all seven Verio Web-hosting locations worldwide.
Richardson is a graduate of the University of Florida where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Accounting.
Ken Godskind
Chief Strategy Officer
Ken Godskind, Chief Strategy Officer for AlertSite, is responsible for leading AlertSite's mission to globalize, meet evolving industry and customer demands and accelerate growth and business opportunities. With over 20 years of experience in the Web technology sphere, Godskind is charged with raising awareness of the vital role that Web Performance Monitoring plays in successful Web site and IT infrastructure design and architecture.
Since joining AlertSite in 2002, Godskind has been frequently quoted as an expert in Web performance management by national, regional and trade media including, BusinessWeek, ComputerWorld, InformationWeek, PC World, Internet Retailer, Ecommerce Times and DMNews.
Prior to his work with AlertSite, Godskind served as Director of Business Development at Response Networks, and held Account Management and Systems Engineering roles at Seagate Software and Informix. His experience covers a wide range of markets, including travel and entertainment, power generation, manufacturing, and technology.
Godskind holds a Bachelors of Science with a major in Finance and minors in Accounting and Economics from the University of Florida.
Fred B. Dilkes
Senior Vice President, Sales and Client Services
Fred Dilkes, Senior Vice President, is responsible for leading AlertSite's sales and customer support team worldwide.
Dilkes has over 25 years of executive sales leadership experience. Before coming to AlertSite, Dilkes was the Senior Vice President of Worldwide Channels and Major Accounts for CDC Software.
Dilkes served as Vice President of Sales for SSA Global, an ERP Software provider, and was a key reason that SSA Global grew from $130M to $750M, went public in 2005 and was acquired by Infor in 2006 for $1.6B. Dilkes also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Newstar and took Newstar from zero sales to $44M.
Dilkes holds a BS degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business.
Gary Beerman
Vice President of Marketing
Gary Beerman, AlertSite's Vice President of Marketing, is responsible for the development and implementation of all AlertSite's corporate marketing, product management, product marketing and public relations.
Beerman has over 25 years experience developing and marketing high-tech computing solutions, from software security to Linux and UNIX-based operating systems. Prior to joining AlertSite, he served as Director of Worldwide Marketing for Concurrent, where he was responsible for brand management, product marketing, channel partners, internal and external communications.
Beerman has also held engineering, product management, and marketing positions with Casi-Rusco (now GE Security), CyberGuard, Encore Computer Corp, Electronics Associates, Inc., and Gould Computer System Division, where he earned Analyst of the Year and President's Club honors. Beerman has also been a technology speaker for Sky Radio on Delta, American and United Airlines.
Beerman holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a minor in Business Administration from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina.
